But fate has other plans. The grandson has a girlfriend Mona (Babita
), whom he plans to marry. The duo are in love. A bombshell is dropped when Vishambhar learns of this. His authority is rudely challenged when his own grandson iterates that he will marry Mona or no one.
The grandson and grandfather stick to their decisions. The hostility between the grandfather's Kal (bygone era's ideals) and the grandson's Kal (new era's ideals) starts. Neither realize that the Aaj (today or the middle generation) is the real victim in this fight.
