The station was assign the call letters KBQF on 1999-10-29. On 2000-05-19, the station changed its call sign to KJCQ, on 2001-11-16 to KLIK-FM, on 2003-07-21 to KBBM, on 2003-09-12 to KJMO, and on 2006-07-12 to the current KZJF.
