K47EW became KWCC-LP on March 10, 2003 when the station changed the K47EW call letters. KWCC-LP change the KWCC-LP call letters to the current KWCC-LD calls on September 3, 2009 possibly to reflect that KWCC-LD is broadcasting as an digital only station.
