December 25, 2002, the station began broadcasting a Hot Adult Contemporary format with an emphasis on 80s music. The station remained jockless until July 7, 2003.

July 5, 2004, "The Bob Walker Morning Show" debuted on My 93.1 from 6am-10am. The station continued with an emphasis on 80s music during this period. It wasn't until spring of 2005 that My 93.1 dropped much of its 80s programming and transitioned into more what it is today.

The station became more attractive to younger listeners, and arbitron numbers for young demos improved. Also, the slogan "The Best Variety of the 80s, 90s, and right now" was dropped and simply replaced with "My 93-1, K-H-M-Y".

The Eagle Media Center

In April 2007, the studios of My 93-1 moved from Halstead Road on Hutchinson's east side to the new "Eagle Media Center" in downtown Hutchinson. The Eagle Media Center would also house sister stations KHUT and KWBW. My 93.1 also tweaked it's playlist in the summer of 2007, becoming more rock-oriented and dropping most of its 80s programming.
