Recently, between the months of July and August 2009, the station began airing "Timeless Favorites" and changed their slogan to "KCOG 99.7 FM Timeless Favorites." They also regularly air jingles proclaiming "America's Greatest Hits" and "Classic Rock and Roll." This is provided by Citadel Media's Classic Hits Radio Network. A vast majority of KCOG's programming is derived from this syndicated service. The station airs three news segments every day and a live two-hour sports show every Wednesday (see below).

The station now also advertises that it is the official voice of the Centerville Big Reds, a high school team from the local Centerville Community School District. On June 6, 2010, KCOG debuted "The Pitch," a weekly one-hour sports show hosted by Russ W. Ocker and Chad Lee Koestner to strengthen their coverage of local sports. The program is produced in association with Hosel Rocket Productions. This show recently picked up a large sponsorship from Centerville, Iowa's local Hy-Vee
