 and comedy format plus sports and hot adult contemporary music. The "Double-J"/ "The Mighty 1630" covers much of eastern Iowa and western Illinois. It is one of the few locally owned and operated stations in eastern Iowa. Beginning on September 24, 2007, KCJJ began broadcasting from their new studios in Coralville's Iowa River Landing. The move was made to better serve their core audience.

The morning show is hosted by Captain Steve, Tommy Lang,and Tom Suter. Local News is aired hourly and High School Sports are featured nightly. KCJJ is affiliated with CBS and CNN. We are a Weather partner with KGAN, Cedar Rapids.
The station also broadcasts the syndicated Lex and Terry Show, The Mike O'Meara Podcast, and NASCAR.
