On August 22, 2011 K15CZ will begin airing an hour-long extension of KYTV's weekday morning newscast at 7 a.m., along with a nightly half-hour 9 p.m. newscast; although the station's largest over-the-air carriage comes from its subchannel on KSPR's digital signal in addition to its low-power signal, the newscasts are being produced by KYTV.
