 on a partial interchange (southbound K-153 exits to westbound K-61 and eastbound K-61 exits to northbound K-153). The route ends at US-56. The road continues north as McPherson County Route 1961.
There is a marked Spur K-153 that is about a mile long. It starts at a partial interchange at K-61 south and west of McPherson (westbound K-61 exits to northbound Spur K-153, southbound Spur K-153 exits to eastbound K-61). South of K-61, Spur 153 continues as McPherson County Route 2043 (Old US-81).
