Detter was a starter all four years at Notre Dame, he had an amazing senior season after making a move from midfield to forward resulted in a scoring explosion, as he registered 14 goals and 5 assists that year, and was named to the All-Big East first team. He finished his college career with 28 goals and 18 assists.
