History

Jumpers Mall opened in 1973. It was a mini-mall with around 30 stores and was the location of the first Mama Ilardo's Pizzeria and Pollock Johnny's Hotdogs. A fountain could be found in the center court, which is now occupied by Gardiner's Furniture. The enclosed portion of the mall featured stores such as Magic Mushroom, Tyler's Country Clothes, People's Drug Store, Fashion Bug, Record and Tape Collectors and an arcade. A marijuana patch was found behind the mall in 1990.
