Juan Manuel Montero Vázquez (born December 29, 1947 in Palencia
) is a Spanish
military surgeon in the rank of a General de División Médico
and currently the acting surgeon general of the Spanish armed medical service, called the Inspector General de Sanidad de la Defensa. He joined the army in the rank of a Teniente (MC) in 1972 and held several assignments in the Central Military Hospital "Gómez Ulla".
