She authored legislation to allow the use of closed circuit television testimony in California's courts, allowing children to testify from a side room and for violent offenders to be arraigned without the need to travel to court.

Mojonnier was the founder in 1983 of Capitol Network, a network for female legislative and administrative professionals in Sacramento.
