. His position of choice is hooker, and has established himself there during his time in the Hull academy. He played for amateur side East Hull and is following in his fathers footsteps signing for Hull. Hodgson has played at England Under 17's and 18's level. Since signing for Hull from amateur side East Hull, he has progressed through the clubs academy ranks. In September 2009 Hodgson signed for Hull rugby league side, Hull Kingston Rovers.
