. He played six matches for the Nelson Giants in the 2006 season and two in 2007, when his availability for selection was limited by injury and national youth team commitments. In 2009 he sustained a season ending injury but in 2010 came back to play back-up point guard for the Nelson Giants.

He has been selected to represent New Zealand at under-14, under-16 and under-19 levels.
