In 2007, Warner Brothers hired him to direct the remake of Logan's Run, a 1970s science fiction film. In 2009, he directed the special effects-laden Tron: Legacy. Using high-speed digital cameras, such as Vision Research's Phantom models, the film was in Disney Digital 3D and IMAX 3D, with a release of December 2010. In November 2009 it was revealed that Kosinski will direct a remake of the 1979 movie The Black Hole
. He is set to direct the science-fiction film Archangels.
