 actor and professional musician. As a musician, he is currently focusing on his solo project (under the moniker "Sleepy Kid") after the breakup of his previous band, Nephew.

Early life

Johnny attended Avondale College

 and took leading roles in school productions from 1994-1997, among them Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Music Man, Fiddler on the Roof, To Kill a Mockingbird and Jane Eyre. He was also part of theatre sports in 1997 which came 2nd in Auckland.

Career

Johnny was previously Lead Singer with Auckland band JESTER, who provided music for short films & the Emmy Award nominated Television Series - Being Eve
