Whitman designed the instructor training program used by Krav Maga Worldwide and served as a lead instructor of that program since its inception. In 2008, he founded Focus Self Defense, and in 2009, became the head of Krav Maga Alliance (www.kravmagaalliance.com), a Krav Maga organization with schools in the United States and Europe.
