John Moss (cricket)

John Moss was a first class cricketer and test match umpire http://www.cricinfo.com/ci/content/player/17714.html. Born in Clifton, Nottingham in 1864, he played one match for Nottinghamshire in 1892 and stood in 12 test matches from his first, the England v Australia test at Old Trafford in 1902 to his last, between the same teams, at the Oval in 1921. He died in 1950 in Keyworth.
