He is a designer, digital media and visual artist working in New York City as the Creative Director and Head of Design for Spontaneous. He was nominated for an MTV Video Music Award for Best Special Effects in 2006 for his animation in U2's video "Original of the Species." He is currently leading Spontaneous in a project that will create a 3D interactive Tour DVD for U2's Vertigo Tour.

Leamy recently accompanied Masters of Reality on their USA and European tour. Playing drums he also contributed to acoustic songs in the set ("Lovers Sky" and "Hey Diana"). Also on the tour were band members: Chris Goss, Paul Powell and Mathias Schneeberger.

Leamy's artwork is used on the cover of the band's first album The Blue Garden.
