Aberdeen

Hutton signed for Aberdeen after the First World War in 1918, and made his debut for the Dons in 1919. He originally played at inside-forward but switched to full-back. In the 1920s, he was Aberdeen's most capped player with seven of his ten caps coming while he played for Aberdeen. In October 1926, he joined English club Blackburn Rovers for a then-record £6,000 transfer fee.
