John Henry Brodhead was born in Washington, New Jersey in 1898. He attended West Chester State Normal school in Pennsylvania, where he graduated in 1919.

Undergraduate and Graduate Years

From Temple University, he received a PhD in educational psychology.

Careers

He was employed as a teacher and a principal in the school system of Philadelphia He also became principal of one of the largest schools in Pennsylvania.

Membership

He was president of the American Teacher Association, the Association of Pennsylvania Educational Association, and the new era Educational.
