Jim Slezak

Jim Slezak is a Michigan politician who served in Michigan State's House of Representatives.

Poltical career

In 2008, Slezak won election to the Michigan State's House of Representatives 50th District defeating incumbent, Ted Hammon, in the Democratic primary. Slezak in 2010 ran to replace the term limited Deborah Cherry in the State Senate, 26th District.
Switching parties, Slezak is running for the open 5th Congressional Distict seat being vacated by retiring Dale Kildee as a Republican.
