 and has four half siblings: Craig, Melisa, Shayne and Jenna. His maternal grandfather, Peter Bruning, was the eldest son of German immigrants August Ernest Bruning and Johanna Weirs. Acting runs in the family. Peter's brother, Roland Irving Bruning was a stunt diver on the Sea Hunt television show. Roland Irving Bruning had two children Eric James Bruning and Margaret Allison Bruning, aka Allison Bruning. Allison holds a theatre arts degree from Sul Ross State University and has directed several plays. She is the author of Calico (Book 1 of the Children of the Shawnee series), Elsa (Book 1 of The Heritage series) and other novels. Her blog is on hubpages.com under the pen name emeraldkell.
