The Jane Ross Reeves Octagon House is located at 400 Railroad Street in Shirley, Indiana. The house was built in 1879.
The house is two stories of wood frame construction with a pyramidal roof. The house has little architectural ornamentation. Only about six octagon houses are left standing in the state of Indiana. The house was moved to its present site from a rural Hancock County location.
