Abraham attended Oakland University

Today, the SBA List is a not-for-profit membership organization with over 280,000 members and a connected Political Action Committee that supports pro-life political candidates and issues.

In 2002, Abraham founded her own consulting firm, Abraham Strategies. She considered running for her husband's old Senate seat in 2006, but decided against it.

Abraham and her husband have three children.
