Little is known about this preserve. It is maintained by The Nature Conservancy

 and is about 19.4 acres (7.9 ha). People infer it was a former farm seeing as there are abandoned buildings with farming tools inside. In fact, the buildings were probably barns. According to local sources, at a time it was open to the public but after the development of streets like Addison Lane, Pine Ridge, and Carmon Road, the entrances were built over although the trail still exists. It contains a swamp and a river with a bridge crossing over it. The trails have apparently been slimmed, as when going north it is an extremely thin path almost in peoples' yards. This path leads to Valentines Lane, which leads to another nature preserve, Louis C. Clark Sanctuary.
