The mammoth Jaipur – Kishangarh of 90 km segment of the Golden Quadrilateral National Highways Development Project of the Government of India, is one of the best and busiest highways in India. During 1999, the conversion of a two-lane track to a world-class six-lane highway was initiated, which costs USD 154 million and today this expressway handles approximately 23,000 vehicles per day connecting various parts of Gujarat & Maharastra to Delhi, supporting the growing economy and make a difference to the lives of the common people by making the road transportation much faster ever before.
At the same time this fastest express high has also emerged as threat to lives of villagers residing near 90 Km segment. Images available on ‘Google Earth’ shows highly populated 03 town/villages are divided and 4 villages are at the outskirt with Jaipur-Kishangarh highway. Whereas ‘Google Earth’ also shows around 72 (±10) Dhabas/mortals are in operation apart from various amusement and recreational parks, hotels and colleges etc.
