All the songs in the album are soft romantic solo numbers and the album was released around Valentine's Day in year 2000. The album was promoted in a live show at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on Valentine's Day that year.

Some of the songs had accompanying videos, directed by Anubhav Sinha. Two of the videos, Tera milna and Jaane kyun mein, starred Sonu Niigaam himself. Tera Milna also starred actress Bipasha Basu
