Morris was born to a Jamaican father and Irish mother. He spent his early years traveling, splitting most of his time between Canada and Jamaica. He later moved to the Cayman Islands and then after high school moved to New York City to attend the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts

Being raised in a very musical family, iSH developed a love for music at a young age. His first single "Falling in Love With You" broke the top 40 position on Canadian radio and mediabase charts, He has released the mixtape The Name is iSH accompanied by his successful single "Priceless" off his debut album The First Impression on Northern Heights Records. A music video was also released for "Priceless", directed by Grandson and Son and shot in the Cayman Islands. He has had many collaborations with artists like Cory Lee
