. The group holds auditions for new members on campus every fall. Traditionally, Intersection performs two feature shows on campus during the school year, one at the end of each semester.

Current Season

Intersection started this season with a completely fresh set of officers, and has been working hard to increase the size of the group's repertoire. The website and CD are still in developing stages. Intersection will be traveling to perform at A Cappella Fest at Truman State University

In addition to these 10, during the first semester of 2005-2006, Intersection had a Vocal Percussionist, who did not return to the group for reasons unannounced.

2006-2007

For the 2006-2007 Academic year Intersection Sung Kim, Jon Meadows, and Pete Nguyen moved on to bigger and better things: graduating. The group picked up some talent in its three new members: Josh Nelson, Reed Staal, and Patrick Miller. With the graduation of both the President and the Event Manager, replacements were needed. The group voted Brian Kostrzewa to fill the void of both officer titles. Reed Staal was voted Vice President at the close of the Winter Semester.

During the 2006 year, Intersection launched its own website created by alum Peter Nguyen. The website homepage is http://www.uiowa.edu/~isection

2007-2008

In 2007, after the graduation of Tristan, Evan, Will, and Charlie, there was a dire need for new members. Luckily, there was a large turnout at auditions, and six new members were selected, bringing the group total to 12. On top of increasing the total size and sound of the group, Sibelius 5 was purchased through the group, and many members have been busily writing original arrangements for future performances.

During the 2007-2008 Season, Steve bought the domain name http://www.iowaintersection.com, and has since created the group's new website due to password issues with the old one. The group also recorded their first CD, "Under Construction", which became available in April, 2008.

2009-2010

This year marked the first year of Intersection with no founding members remaining in the group. Intersection competed in two different competitions in the 2009-2010 season, the Mile High Vocal Jam in Colorado

The 2010-2011 season brought with it the largest Intersection group to date, a group consisting of 11 returning members and 3 new members. Intersection competed for a second consecutive year in the ICCA
