People

The town and the surrounding area is mostly populated by farmers. The majority of the people are Sri Lankan Tamil. First and foremost revolutionary group EROS formed by Ratnasababathi is from Inuvil.

Education

The Inuvil Central College, the Inuvil Hindu College, and the Ramanathan college are some of the schools of the area. The "Ramanathan college of traditional arts" is situated in Inuvil near Maruthanarmadam. Hindu traditional arts are being taught here. There are few Computer Education centres too.

Culture

Most of them are Hindus Around 98%-99% and follows the Tamil Culure. There are many professional drummers came from this village including famous Thadshanamoorthy. Also have a "Gurukulam" where most of the Hindu priest are educated here.
