Interstate Renewable Energy Council

The Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC) was established in 1982 to influence state and national energy policies and help shape utility and industry standards and best practices with regard to renewable energy resources. Based in Latham, New York, the organization is overseen by a Board of Directors and employees a range of technical and policy experts.
