Philosophy

IHF has no administrative or fundraising costs, and operates under a philosophy of transparency and financial accountability.

From the 2010 Annual Report:
We don't exist just for our children to become educated. We equally exist to educate people from Europe, the Americas, and Australia and New Zealand. We believe it is important for all these countries to have well educated citizens who understand the ground-level reality of poverty and its abuses, and create, effective solutions from the various cultures of the world. IHF is in some ways an intensive “boot camp" in teaching our volunteers. It is not easy for them. We are very proud of the great job they do and proud of the intensive education IHF provides these world citizens with, while thankful for their help and their wanting to learn.
