in 2010 through the consolidation of the content of the Directory of American Philosophers
and International Directory of Philosophy and Philosophers
. These print reference works have produced at the Philosophy Documentation Center since 1970, and this database is an extension of this well-established work in electronic format. All listings are provided free of charge, and can be updated as necessary online.
