Life

After graduate school, she joined the studio at the Central Children's Theater. Between 1962-1964, Gulaya studied at Shchukin's Drama Institute.

, a heavy drinker, hanged himself in 1974. Gulaya committed suicide sixteen years later. According to one investigation, the cause of her death was the overdose of sleeping pills.
