. It serves students around the globe. Classes are online and/or through-the-mail. IUHS provides (for a fee) both individual courses and diploma programs. It also offers student services, such as career counseling and "life experience credits" for non-academic achievement.
IUHS was started in 1925 and began awarding high school diplomas in the 1990s. It is the founding member of the Indiana Virtual Learning Consortium.
All instructors are licensed by the state of Indiana.
