History

Independiente De San Vicente was founded in 1946, they signed up several youth and Took over the staff and players of UDAL.

Coca colo was team original name, the team had achieved promotion to the 2005 season, However due financial trouble sold their spot to C.D. Chalatenango

The owners decided to change name to Nacional 1906 and through a partnership with
independent San Vicente were reformed to Independiente Nacional 1906.

Independiente Nacional 1906 gained promotion in 2006 to primera division de el salvador, however poor results lead the team to relegation in 2007.
