. It would be the band's first and only compilation album (excluding Selfless/Merciless and Slateman/Cold World, which were both two albums jointed) since the band would disband one year later. The only album which had yet to be released by them was Hymns.

Critical reception

Eduardo Rivadavia from Allmusic gave In All Languages a 4.5 of 5 stars rating, calling it a "near-perfect career synthesis". The critic praised the inclusion of the tracks of the second disc which, according to him, "become especially relevant for a full appreciation of the band" and are "[a] great place to start discovering Godflesh". He only regretted the fact that it couldn't feature songs from the band's last record, Hymns.
