Content

Brown's productions consist mainly of subdued melodies, emotive guitar licks, and vivid basslines. He avoids typical rap topics like acquiring mass amounts of money, and engaging in shootouts, in favour of more down to earth subjects such as advancing towards a woman ("Hennessey Parts 1 & 2"), or the ups and downs of being a relative newcomer to the scene ("Outside Lookin' In"). "Struggla's Theme" sees him joined by Grap Luva to exchange thoughts on the music industry. He also finds time to reminisce over an estranged love interest on the bittersweet "Albany", which features stirring horns over a melancholy bassline. Many of the songs are connected by brief musical interludes, which occasionally feature rapping.

Kev Brown's verses are profanity-free and all curses on the album from guests are edited out.

An instrumental version of the album was released on March 3, 2006.
