Classes who are able to win the Hudson Relay for four consecutive years receive a dinner of steak and champagne with the President of the university.

The Hudson Relays began in 1910 as a relay race from the original location of Western Reserve University in Hudson, Ohio to its current location in Cleveland. It was founded by then Senior Munroe Curtis. A large rock was dedicated on the Western Reserve Camous outside of Adelbert Hall and the winning team each year is inscribed on the rock. The original route from Hudson to Cleveland was along Chapel St to Route 91 to Route 87 to South Woodland Rd to Warrensville Center Rd to South Park to North Park to East Boulevard to Ambleside Dr into campus. In 1990, the relay route was changed to its current form of five loops around the Case Western Reserve University campus.
