In the beginning of the music video, Geronimo is writing a letter to Bautista, telling him to meet her in Pier 39 at 9:00. She starts singing as she waits for Bautista, but it was morning. Before the very end, he sees the letter on top of the refrigerator, reads it and goes straight to Pier 39 at 9:00 in the evening.

Chart performance

"How Could You Say You Love Me" was a big hit in the charts. After releasing two unsuccessful singles, the song proved to be another hit, peaking at #1 for 9 weeks.

The song was used as the theme song of the Koreanovela, Save The Last Dance.
