The current breakfast line-up consists of Paul Holmes ex Sydney and Melbourne radio legend, teamed with Sean Flanagan, comedic writer for TV and radio. Nova 106.9 announcer Emily-Jade O'Keefe was among the founding breakfast crew when the station first launched. Malcolm Lees, most famous as a member of Sydney MMM's (and Triple J) Club Veg, is partnered with Luke Bradnam for the Local Drive Home show. Luke is the identical twin brother of Ash (Nova Brisbane breakfast). Another notable personality is former Australian Idol contestant Stu Campbell, who formerly hosted the night show but now is part of the commercial creative copy writing department. The Street Team are known as "The 1029ers" and feature Big Brother million dollar winner Trevor Butler.

trademark by calling it "only ever two ads in a row." Hot Tomato also prides itself on an active local newsroom delivering on-the-hour news updates. The first song played on Hot Tomato was Rolling Stones "Sympathy for the Devil".

Weekdays
  • Breakfast 5am - 9am: "Something different for Breakfast" with Paul Holmes and Sean Flanagan
  • Mornings 9am - 12 noon: Simon Carey
  • Afternoons 12 noon - 3pm: Jessica Capolupo
  • Drive 3pm - 7pm: "The Local Drive Home" with Malcolm Lees and Luke Bradnam
  • Nights: 7pm to 9pm "Requestfest" with Pete Carter
  • Overnight: Hottest songs of the 80s 90s and Today.

Weekends
  • Saturday morning 5am - 9am: "Outside with Paul Burt" Queensland's Outdoors and Fishing Legend
  • Promotions Team: The 1029 Hot Tomato Victory Ford Rangers. Led by Coasty and Johnno. Previous to 2010, the station had the 1029ers which have been replaced by brand new cars provided by Victory Ford on the Tweed.
