Closing

Hoban Dominican was closed in 1971 by the diocese. Hoban Dominican's campus was sold to the Cleveland Metropolitan School District in 1973. The campus was then changed to a co-ed public school in Cleveland

Academics

Hoban Dominican was in compliance with the State of Ohio Accreditation Board and was a member in good standing of the North Central Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges since opening and of the Ohio Catholic Schools Accrediting Association since its inception.
