As of October 2006, the enrollment in K-12 schools is 4,805. The superintendent is currently Darce Driskel, although he has since announced his retirement at the end of the 2006-07 school year.

On March 26, 2007, the school board announced that Dr. Fred Maiocco would serve as superintendent beginning the 2007-08 school year.
