Henry Chesbrough

Henry Chesbrough coined the term open innovation
and is the author of Open Innovation: The New Imperative for Creating and Profiting from Technology (HBS Press, 2003). He has also written two other books on open innovation: Open Business Models: How to Thrive in the New Innovation Landscape (HBS Press, 2006) and Open Innovation: Researching a New Paradigm (Oxford, 2006), an edited book of academic papers.
Chesbrough is currently an adjunct professor and the executive director
of the Center for Open Innovation at the Haas School of Business
at the University of California, Berkeley
. Prior to Haas, he taught at the Harvard Business School
as an assistant professor and Class of 1961 Fellow from 1997 - 2003.
