, which was detained in the imperial prisons. Immediately after his release, he is brought up to the rank of General (General der Kavalerie) on February 9, 1692 and he demonstrates that his courage is not affected at all, by seizing on June 5, 1692 the town of Oradea ( Großwardein). The modifications which he brought gave it baroque aspect to the castle thanks to the talent of the architect Francesco Martinelli. Under the aegis of the Count, Baldassarre Fontana realizes the very beautiful decoration in stucco in the chapel and in twelve rooms of splendor.
