Heart of Slough Updates

Slough's new Bus Station was opened in May 2011, 5 months behind schedule. But while that was under construction, work has begun all over the town, the new road works are well underway. Redevelopment of the train station (Network Rail site) started in the early weeks of August 2011 and are scheduled to be finished before the 2012 London Summer Olympic. The rest of the old Brunel bus station is being demolished.

The new learning centre (The Curve) has still not started but is expected to do so in early 2012. The Thames Valley Square still hasn't started but is scheduled to do so by the end of 2011.

The new road system in Slough is starting to take place, still a long way to go but big progress is being made as of September 2011.
