Halvor Olaus Christensen (1800–1891) was a Norwegian politician.

He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament in 1833, 1836, 1839, 1842, 1845, 1848, 1854, 1862, 1865, 1868 and 1871. He represented the constituency of Stavanger

He worked as a stipendiary magistrate (byfoged) and town clerk (byskriver) throughout the whole period, having been appointed in 1832, as well as chief of police only during the first six terms.
