The song was released under the Pseudonym Masquerade. After the release, the song not only reached the charts of the country to Germany, but also outside Europe, it was announced. After Marmor, Stein und Eisen bricht (engl. Marble Breaks and Iron Bends), the song was the second best known by Drafi Deutscher.
