Simon Gipps-Kent played the young Pip and the film also starred James Mason as Magwitch and Margaret Leighton as Miss Havisham, as well as Robert Morley; Joss Ackland; Rachel Roberts; Andrew Ray; Anthony Quayle and Heather Sears. It was filmed in Eastmancolor.
